One Piece Odyssey launches for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and PC Steam in 2022
Around the end of the March 2022 One Piece News live stream, Bandai Namco revealed a new RPG related to the famous manga and anime franchise. One Piece Odyssey will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam worldwide in 2022.
The game will support Japanese voice-over with English, French, Italian, German, European Spanish, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Neutral Spanish, and Japanese subtitles.
The publisher additionally revealed that ILCA (the company that recently worked on Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl) is in charge of developing the new game. It will also have a soundtrack composed by Motoi Sakuraba of the Tales Of series fame.
The title's original storyline will have the Straw Hat Pirates explore a mysterious island with new monsters, dungeons, and quests. Official notes for the game also indicate that you will be able to play as any of the nine crew members: Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Usopp, Chopper, Nico Robin, Franky, and Brook.
