Narrative-focused fairytale horror RPG Little Goody Two Shoes announced by AstralShift and Square Enix
Developer AstralShift has unveiled Little Goody Two Shoes, a narrative-focused RPG that is described as a "mysterious new fairytale anime adventure with a dark twist." The project is being published by the Square Enix Collective initiative that primarily partners with select upcoming indie titles. AstralShift is based in Portugal and is also a co-developer on the Pocket Mirror ~ GoldenerTraum remaster that is re-releasing 2016's Pocket Mirror, which is yet another mystery horror RPG.
There has been no release date or platforms revealed for Little Goody Two Shoes. In a statement by Square Enix Collective studio head Phil Elliott down below, they mentioned that the game will be releasing next year.
The Square Enix Twitter account has shared a very brief clip of the game in action as the title's main character, Elise runs around a forest and town momentarily before talking to a NPC.

Little Goody Two Shoes is said to be a "homage to the original PlayStation and early PlayStation 2 RPGs" and will include gameplay elements like Sustenance, Reputation & Suspicion, and Exploration & Narrative.
Patricia Silva, CEO of AstralShift, shared some of their thoughts on the studio's partnership with Square Enix Collective.

Phil Elliott, studio head at Square Enix Collective, also released a statement about their collaboration with AstralShift.

Square Enix Collective is excited to announce Little Goody Two Shoes, a mysterious new fairytale anime adventure with a dark twist. The narrative-focused horror role-playing game is being developed by AstralShift, an independent game development team based in Portugal and dedicated to creating stunning cinematic and narrative games with immersive storylines and evoking soundtracks.
Set in the mysterious Kieferberg Village, Little Goody Two Shoes is a homage to the original PlayStation and early PlayStation 2 (PS2) RPGs and is centered around Elise, an ambitious girl determined to become rich and escape her humble life. Players will step into Elise’s shoes and soon find themselves immersed in a 90's inspired horror role-playing adventure game. Gameplay elements such as ‘Sustenance’, ‘Reputation & Suspicion’ and ‘Exploration & Narrative’ will guide players to complete their daily tasks by day and uncover the woodland’s darkest secrets by night. Players will also have the ability to set their own paths to navigate through the wicked woods, solve puzzles and build meaningful relationships in this nostalgic gaming experience.
