One Piece Odyssey arrives on January 13, 2023

Bandai Namco and ILCA have revealed the release date of One Piece Odyssey at long last. The turn-based RPG will be releasing on January 13, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

A new trailer from TGS 2022 announced its release date. It begins with an enigmatic log detailing the history of the Waford island that the Straw Hat Pirates find themselves in. In this log, the writer met a survovir that saw "a mysterious girl and terrifying giant living there".

Robin has heard rumors of the island of Waford before in One Piece Odyssey. One of the new game original characters, Lim, explains that she locked away the powers of the Straw Hat Pirates because she believes that all pirates are monsters that prey on the weak, so she can't trust them. Perhaps she'll have a change-of-heart as players progress through the game.

With their powers all gone, players must venture through Waford to regain all the powers that the Straw Hat Pirates lost. At the end, Lim teases that she'll transport the Straw Hat Pirates to a world made from their memories and teases that Nefertari Vivi will make an appearance.

Those that pre-order One Piece Odyssey will receive a Travelling Outfit set for the crew, along with 10 Energy Apples, 3 Golden Jellys, and 10 Excite Apples. Those that buy the Deluxe Edition receive a Deluxe Pack that contains 2 Petite Jewelries which are in-game accessories and the 'Sniper King' Travelling Outfit, plus an Adventure Expansion Pack with content that has yet to be revealed.
