Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes reveals voice acting in its TGS 2022 trailer

Rabbit & Bear Studios and 505 Games have pulled back the curtain on a new Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes trailer at TGS 2022 featuring voices for the first time. The 'Voice in Cutscenes' feature for the title was the $3,100,000 stretch goal in its 2020 Kickstarter

Nowa and Seign continue their showdown on a bridge where the Gamescom 2022 trailer ended in August. Both of their voice actors were revealed in the new trailer; Nowa is voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara and Seign is voiced by Kenji Akabane. Rabbit & Bear Studios further shared that Marisa will be voiced by Sumire Uesaka at the 505 Games TGS 2022 livestream.

The TGS 2022 trailer continues to share more new gameplay footage for the upcoming Suikoden spiritual successor. Battles exhibit the camera tilt-shifting at several points, which adds a new element to the traditional isometric view that the Suikoden games had.

Those looking to get their fill of Suikoden in 2023 no longer have just Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes to look forward to, though. Konami recently announced that they will be fully remastering Suikoden I & Suikoden II with the Suikoden I&II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).

Meanwhile, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (SteamGOGEpic). It will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass.

Over 100 unique and charming heroes join forces with the game’s protagonists in a tightly-woven story about a war-torn continent. Through a unique system, players are able to expand the town that serves as their home base, opening new shops and managing the town guilds. The turn-based combat puts players in control of up to 6 fighters, providing immersive and fast-paced battles that vary up character formation and follow the action with a dynamic camera.

The game was funded through Kickstarter on July 27, 2020, soaring past its minimum goal of $500,000 and successfully raising over $4.6 million.
