Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion gets a launch trailer ahead of December 13 release

Square Enix has uploaded a new launch trailer for the upcoming Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion ahead of its release later this month. As is typical with many of Square Enix's launch trailers, this one showcases snippets of many key story scenes that often teeter on the wrong side of spoiler territory. It's a nostalgic look at the game's glow-up for those that played Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII when it was originally released on the PlayStation Portable. However, for fans newer to the Final Fantasy VII-related series of games, we recommend maybe skipping this one before diving in when the game launches on December 13.

For the rest, we've got the trailer linked below.

Play as SOLDIER operative Zack Fair and trigger the events that lead up to FINAL FANTASY VII. Engage in fast-paced real-time action combat to uncover the dark secrets of Shinra’s experiments and the monsters they create. CRISIS CORE –FINAL FANTASY VII– REUNION will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam on December 13th 2022.

Digital pre-orders are now live on all platforms as well. Pre-orders will receive the Dark Fire, Dark Thunder, and Dark Blizzard materia early in the game.  Additionally, those that grab the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive a mini soundtrack and digital art book. Lastly, a new Zack Fair statue from the Japanese Collector's Edition is also available for pre-order at the Square Enix Store.
