Capcom details Patch Cards and new Buster MAX Mode in Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection

During the  Capcom Spotlight Digital Event on March 9, the publisher announced new features coming to Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection.

The new details discuss two additions made for the remaster.

  1. All 499 Patch Cards created for Mega Man Battle Network 4 onwards will be included in the collection. These cards were originally physical cards only available in Japan.
  2. A new Buster MAX Mode will multiply MegaMan.EXE's damage output by 100; a boost for those who simply want to see the story. This mode is not available for online NetBattles.

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection releases on April 14 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam2). The digital release will be split into two volumes.

Director Masakazu “Mr. Famous” Eguchi delivered an update on even more exciting features coded into Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. All 499 Patch Cards created for Mega Man Battle Network 4 onwards will be included in the collection! Previously, these were physical cards only sold in Japan and had to be scanned into the game. Additionally, players who want to focus on experiencing the story of Lan and his NetNavi, MegaMan.EXE, can now use the new Buster MAX Mode, which will be automatically disabled for online NetBattles. This mode multiplies the damage of MegaMan.EXE’s normal MegaBuster shot by 100, helping you breeze through NetBattles and enjoy the story! Speaking of enjoying a story, starting on March 21 the first two seasons of the Mega Man NT Warrior animated series will be free to watch!
