Level-5 to release Megaton Musashi: Wired worldwide in 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC

During its Level-5 Vision 2023 event, Level-5 has announced Megaton Musashi: Wired, an "international version" of 2021's Megaton Musashi set to release for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).

For those unfamiliar, Megaton Musashi was originally announced as a multimedia project back in 2016. An anime series aired in 2021 and the original Megaton Musashi video game released for Japan later that year. Up until now, there was no word of an English localization.

As for the game itself, Megaton Musashi is a co-operative action RPG, where players take control of characters piloting giant robots while taking on alien monsters known as Dracters. Combat encompasses flashy robot battles, with all sorts of movements and Finisher Attacks.

Details are somewhat scarce, but Megaton Musashi: Wired looks to be the same game as Megaton Musashi, but with exclusive content and new giant robot collaborations. Collaborations on the official website include Mazinger Z, Getter Robot, UFO Robot Grendizer, COMBATTLER V, and VOLTES V.
