Xenoblade Chronicles Trilogy soundtrack release dates fall in August 2023

Fans of the music of the three numbered Xenoblade Chronicles titles will be able to nab a complete music collection from the trilogy this year. Composer Yasunori Mitsuda's Procyon Studio announced that multiple Xenoblade Chronicles soundtracks are set to go on sale in 2023. The collections will contain hours of music from the three Monolith Soft-developed RPGs.

The Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition OST is a five-disc collection packing 99 tracks in total. It includes all 54 rearranged Definitive Edition tracks as well as the new ones added for the Future Connected DLC. It'll cost 5,500 Yen (about $42 USD) and goes on sale on August 2, 2023.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 OST actually has two release dates. The Limited Edition will come out on the game's anniversary on July 29, 2023, while the Regular Edition launches on August 2, 2023.

The Limited Edition includes an 80-page booklet containing a music list, liner notes from the composers, a list with all the trilogy's musical motifs, lyrics, interviews, an affinity chart, and a special message from Executive Director Tetsuya Takahashi. The box also includes 1/3rd-scale replicas of the Noah and Mio's flutes, as well as a special illustration and a card autographed by the composers. Both editions will contain the full nine-disc music collection, totaling 140 tracks across the main game and the DLC (including the story released with Expansion Pass Vol. 4). The Limited Edition will cost 16,800 Yen (about $128 USD), and the Regular Edition costs 7,260 Yen (about $55 USD).

The Xenoblade Chronicles 2 OST was actually released back in 2018. However, it will be included in a special "Trinity Box" collection compiling all three games' soundtracks. The Trinity Box will cost 20,000 Yen (about $153 USD) and consist of twenty discs. It'll include the full soundtracks to Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the Torna: The Golden Country expansion, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It'll launch on July 29, 2023.
