Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Half-Anniversary promos tease NieR Automata crossover

Publisher Level Infinite and developer Shift Up are celebrating the six-month "half-anniversary" of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and their commemorative live stream hinted at a crossover with Square Enix's NieR Automata happening in the near future. There were no further details on when it will happen, but the stream and subsequent promotional posts showed off a NIKKE logo done in the style of NieR Automata.

Check out the logo below.

Whenever it happens, the NieR Automata crossover will be the second crossover event NIKKE has hosted since its debut in November 2022. The first crossover was with Chainsaw Man, the hit anime and manga series. The event saw the addition of the Chainsaw Man characters Makima, Power, and Himeno to the playable roster. A NieR Automata crossover is likely to see characters like YoRHa No. 2 Type B (or 2B) and YoRHa Type A No. 2 (or A2) join up. Characters like 9S or other NieR Automata characters may show up, though NIKKE has yet to feature a male-presenting playable character.

In addition to the NieR Automata crossover tease, the half-anniversary stream also outlined the addition of new modes, events, and content to the game. Additional chapters of the main story will go live, as well as a new event called "Over Zone". Over Zone will be the first "prequel" event in NIKKE, and feature the backstory of the Pilgrims, a mysterious faction of Nikke androids with a connection to the beginnings of the game's setting. The event will also see the debut of Dorothy, the leader of the Pilgrim squad "Inherit" (which counts characters Noah, Harran, and Isabel as other members).

Check out Dorothy's preview trailer below.

Besides Dorothy and the Over Zone event, NIKKE will also receive a new mode called "Solo Raid", featuring a new enemy, "Mother Whale." The playable character Modernia will also receive a costume, having won the recently concluded popularity contest

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is available on Android, iOS, and PC.
