During the PC Gaming Show 2023, publisher Twin Sails Interactive and developers Different Sense and Lazy Bear Games announced Bloomtown: A Different Story, a narrative turn-based pixel-art RPG set to release in 2024 for unspecified consoles and PC (Steam).

Twin Sails is teaming up with developers Different Sense Games and Lazy Bear Games, creators of Graveyard Keeper and Punch Club, to publish Bloomtown: A Different Story, a single-player, turn-based JRPG coming to PC and consoles. Bloomtown offers a unique blend of JRPG, monster taming and social RPG elements, all set in an exciting pixel-art world inspired by 1960s Americana. Bloomtown is a quiet and cozy American town, but this is only a facade – a demon world is growing beneath the surface, children are disappearing, and it’s up to you to save the town!
Join Emily and her group of friends and battle otherworldly forces that embody the fears and vices of Bloomtown’s citizens in turn-based tactical combat. Tame monsters from the Underside and create your own demon-hunting squad with unique team synergies. Time in Bloomtown cannot be stopped, so spend it wisely! Explore the city’s secret areas, exercise at the gym, work at the grocery store, take up gardening, or make resourceful friends. The decisions – and the adventure – are yours!

Bloomtown: A Different Story is a narrative JRPG mixing turn-based combat, monster taming and social RPG set in a seemingly pleasant 1960s Americana world.
Play as Emily and her younger brother Chester sent on their summer holiday to their grandpa’s cozy and quiet town. May be too quiet… Children starting to disappear, nightmares getting more real… Something’s not right, especially for a 12-year-old girl with an adventurous mind!
It is up to you to solve this mystery and free Bloomtown and its inhabitants from a glooming fate!
