Gothic II Complete Classic launches for Nintendo Switch on November 29

THQ Nordic has announced that Gothic II Complete Classic will release for Nintendo Switch on November 29, priced at $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99. A physical release is available exclusively at the THQ Nordic European Store.

Developed by Piranha Bytes, the classic CRPG originally released as a PC exclusive in Germany in November 2002, followed by a wider release in Europe and North America in 2003. This new port is called 'Complete Classic', because it includes the Night of the Raven expansion, also originally released in 2003.

The original Gothic made its way to Nintendo Switch last week. THQ Nordic is also working on a remake for Gothic 1 with developer Alkimia Interactive that is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam), though no release date has been set for it yet.

Who let the felons out? You, you, you, you! The nameless hero, defying all odds, shattered the magical barrier imprisoning the detainees of the Valley of Mines, granting them freedom.
