Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains launches for Nintendo Switch on December 8
Eastasiasoft and Softstar have announced that Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains will launch for Nintendo Switch eShop on December 8, alongside Windows Store. The remade classic Chinese RPG was released for PC (Steam) this past July.

Independent developer and publisher Eastasiasoft Limited today announced that acclaimed Chinese RPG Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains will launch for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe as well as the Windows Store worldwide on December 8, 2023 featuring full support for English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese text.
Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains is a traditional RPG with turn-based combat and beautifully illustrated 2D sprites that draws inspiration from both Eastern and Western mythologies and history. As Frankish knight Septem, players must recruit a diverse party of characters from disparate lands to unite would-be enemies against a common threat. Using a special Spirit Fusion Pot, it is possible to capture and fuse enemies into new items or creatures to aid in the globe-spanning journey.
Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains is originally developed by Softstar Entertainment Inc. Digital pricing is set at US$14.99/€14.99, plus a 10% launch discount will be available for a limited time.
