The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin shows off new gameplay in its G-Star 2023 trailer

Netmarble has unveiled more new gameplay footage for its upcoming open world action RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. This game is a "new multiverse story" that doesn't strictly follow the events of the source material in The Seven Deadly Sins manga that received multiple seasons of anime adaptations. Instead, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin stars Tristan, the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth.

People are able to take control of different characters from The Seven Deadly Sins in this game, such as Gowther - the Goat's Sin of Lust. In another segment of the trailer, players venture into caves via a mine cart. Gilthunder interacts with several environmental objects to navigate through it.

Near the end of the trailer, Tristan reconstructs a ship from debris lying around. There is also a boss battle showcased with Tristan; he avoids its attacks by running around and then immediately mounting a creature to gain more speed.

More characters from The Seven Deadly Sins and Four Knights of the Apocalypse will be available to collect throughout the game.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin launches on mobile devices, PC, and unspecified consoles, but no release date has been given.
