Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast shares new trailer with grid-based strategy RPG gameplay

Developers Apollosoft & Mebius and publisher Bushiroad Games have unveiled the third trailer forĀ Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast, the upcoming strategy RPG spin-off that's based on the light novel and anime series.

This new title primarily revolves around a cast of new characters that were originally made for this game. The main cast of the original Goblin Slayer story also show up and are playable in this game, too.

Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast's events and battles are presented through an isometric view and combat is carried out as a grid-based strategy RPG. On top of creating a party formation that complements each other's moveset and capabilities, players can place traps at certain points in the battlefield to hinder their foes.

Certain battle systems are decided on a dice roll that's visually presented to the player that echoes the thematic elements of the source material.

Plus, the ending theme song "Duetting Solo" by Mili is shown off as the trailer comes to an end.

Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast releases on February 29, 2024 for the Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). It will support English and Japanese text, though the voices will be Japanese only.

Update (February 16): Bushiroad has confirmed that the English language update will come at a later date.
