Astlibra Gaiden: The Cave of Phantom Mist releases for PC via Steam in Q1 2024

WhisperGames has opened a Steam page for Astlibra Gaiden: The Cave of Phantom Mist, which will be available as an expansion DLC for Astlibra Revision. Although the page's release date only shows "Coming soon", the publisher noted on the title's news page that they are aiming to release it in "the first quarter of 2024".

Astlibra Gaiden will have players control the Baker's daughter as she tries to track down the missing members of the town's Guild with her primary objective being to help her ill sister. The player will also be able to customize her outfit and fighting style.

When we had the opportunity to interview KEIZO last year, the Japanese indie developer revealed that he was in the process of reworking the side story—originally released as a Japanese-only free downloadable game on his website—as DLC. In the same interview, he also confirmed a Nintendo Switch port of Astlibra Revision, which has since been released last November.

You can find screenshots and synopsis for Astlibra Gaiden: The Cave of Phantom Mist right below. The Steam version will also support Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese languages in addition to Japanese and English. Players who want to purchase this DLC must have first owned the base Astlibra Revision.
