The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak launches on July 5, 2024

NIS America's localization of The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, the western release of 2021's Kuro no Kiseki, launches on PlayStation 4, 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on July 5. Previously announced for a western release this year last September, the release date was officially revealed with a new trailer today, in advance of the game's early showing at RPG Limit Break, the annual RPG speedrunning charity event.

We greatly enjoyed our time with the Japanese release back at it's launch 2 1/2 years ago, and we're equally looking forward to western players finally getting a chance to experience it for themselves. Alongside today's trailer drop, NIS America also updated their website for the game with more details about the upcoming release and its cast. Of special note, is that while NIS America's release won't be available for consoles until today's announced date - technically the PC version of Trails through Daybreak is already avaialable, as the company handled the Japanese PC release for the game which will be updated to support English text and audio once the western release date arrives. This PC version was announced, and released, ahead of the game's official localization announcement.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak will be available for PlayStation 4, 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on July 5, 2024. Please look forward to our full review for the localization as we get closer to the game's release.
