Battle the forces of chaos in this new SaGa Emerald Beyond trailer revolving around the undying king Siugnas

Square Enix unveiled a new character trailer for SaGa Emerald Beyond that introduces Siugnas, the Dismal King, this time around. The trailer showcases several new clips of gameplay for the upcoming turn-based RPG along with the brothers-in-arms that battle alongside him.

All of the comrades introduced in the trailer are amusingly named after a class or job in a RPG - Champion, Hero, Philosopher, Warrior, Lifetaker, and General. Some bits of gameplay showcase that the Philosopher has an assassin-like type of battle style as he enters portals and throws knives. Warrior pulls out a gun to attack from a distance.

Siugnas and his motley crew journey to other worlds to fight the forces of chaos.

SaGa Emerald Beyond launches on April 25 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), and mobile devices simultaneously.

One of the protagonists - The Dismal King, forced from his throne.

An immortal vampire and the Dismal King who rules Yomi, a world shrouded in darkness.

After being removed from his throne by someone or something's betrayal, he awakes to find himself in Brighthome, a world where fallen warriors gather.
