Fate/Samurai Remnant's second Record's Fragment DLC releases on April 18

Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon have revealed the release date for the second Record's Fragment DLC pack for Fate/Samurai Remnant. Players of the game can now expect the new content pack to be available globally on April 18. Those playing the game on PCs via Steam and residing in the Americas can technically get the DLC one day earlier, as it will launch simultaneously worldwide on April 17 at 6 PM PDT / 9 PM EDT.

It has been an established pattern for Koei Tecmo to start unveiling DLC packs for their major games a few weeks ahead, as seen in their prior AAA games like Nioh 2 and Wo Long. But today's announcement is perhaps the most cryptic of all so far, as they did not share any key visuals and even redacted part of the new DLC's subtitle.

Koei Tecmo did promise that they will publish more details on the game's official website and X account "soon", but there is no specific timing pattern on that. As a reference, the first DLC pack: Keian Command Championship only had a teaser trailer when it was revealed on the 2024 New Year's Eve, and there was no further news until Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon revealed the full gist right on its release day on February 9.
