Wizardry Variants Daphne set to release on October 2024 for mobile devices
Developer Studio 2Pro and publisher Drecom have announced that Wizardry Variants Daphne is releasing this October. This title brings the brutal dungeon-crawling Wizardry experience to iOS and Android. They also mentioned last September that Wizardry Variants Daphne will be coming to Steam, though it will release after the mobile version.
The title received a major delay during development; it was originally set to release sometime in 2023. A closed beta test for Wizardry Variants Daphne concluded last fall and many adjustments had to be made to the game based on the feedback that the developers received from its beta testers. Pre-registration for Wizardry Variants Daphne will open up on August 2024.
Earlier in March, the X/Twitter account shared several improvements coming to Wizardry Variants Daphne including better auto-movement in dungeons, such as how traps can be bypassed during auto-movement.
