Sunborn opens Girls Frontline 2: Exilium opens for pre-registration, adds rewards for hitting milestones
Developer Sunborn has officially opened the pre-registration campaign for the English-language edition its free-to-play tactical RPG Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium . A direct sequel to the original Girls' Frontline, Exilium adopts a 3D graphical style, turn-based grid tactics partially inspired by the XCOM series, and a new narrative building on the previous game. The game is currently active in China, with no definite release date for the global edition. Interested players can now visit the game's official site and sign up to be notified when the game goes live.
As with other pre-registration periods for similar titles, the Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium pre-registration campaign includes various prizes promised for hitting milestones. The rewards include "Collapse Piece" currency, "Access Permission" tickets to use in the game's gacha system, and "Combat Report" items used to level up characters. The most notable prize is the character Cheeta. Known in Girls' Frontline as MP7 (because she wields an MP7 submachine gun as her primary weapon), Cheeta is described as the "Queen of Inventions" at the player's PMC, Griffin.
Alongside the pre-registration announcement, the official website was also updated with more character and world details including profiles of the T-Dolls Groza (OTs-14 in GFL), Krolik, Nemesis, Colphne, Vepley, amd Cheeta. The profiles include illustrations and animated videos featuring the characters.
Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium will launch on iOS, Android, and PC.
