Dragon Age: The Veilguard debuts Blighted Dragon gameplay trailer at State of Play

Bioware has revealed an extended look at a boss fight in Dragon Age: The Veilguard at Sony's special Tokyo Game Show State of Play showcase. Dragon Age: The Veilguard releases on October 31st, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

In this trailer, the player character Rook goes against a fierce blighted dragon known as Corius the Icetalon. After an introduction cutscene where the cast braces themselves for the dragon's onslaught, Rook shows off how the Mage class can be expected to handle the game's boss battles. After the battle, the aftermath cutscene shows the party is attacked by another dragon and a dangerous foe emerges that can control both.

EA and Bioware also posted to PlayStation Blog, diving into Mage Rook's abilities and coordination with compansions.
