Final Fantasy III due out this September for PSP

Final Fantasy III will be making its way to PSP if Jump magazine proves to be correct.

A scan detailing the game has surfaced online which dates the game for September 20th in Japan. Visually the game is similar to the DS version but now supports a widescreen view. The game is set to retail for 3300 yen and allow you to change between the newer type of bgm music and the original Famicom style tracks.

Presumably FFIII for PSP will also fall under the 25th anniversary branding similar to FFI and II for PSP were labeled with the 20th anniversary celebration. Interestingly enough the addition of this title means you can now play Final Fantasy I through IX all on one system, so have at it!

Nothing has been announced on the western side of things, but considering the game is already localized, it wouldn't be too hard for a digital version to come about.
