Persona 5: The Phantom X stream on May 15 will reveal the Japanese release date
Sega and Atlus have announced that they will soon reveal the Japanese release date for Persona 5: The Phantom X. The actual announcement will be made via a new pre-recorded stream set to premiere on YouTube on Thursday, May 15 at 23:00 JST (14:00 UTC).
This stream will feature the key Japanese staff members involved in the game's production: Atlus will send the chief producer Yosuke Uda along with the development director and main scenario planner Yusuke Nitta, while Sega will bring the development producer Jun Matsunaga and the operation director Yuta Sakai. Two Japanese voice actresses who voiced characters in the new game—Kaede Hondo (Motoha Arai) and Chika Anzai (YUI)—will also be present at the show.
The upcoming program is also slated to feature more information. Other than the Japanese release date, it will also showcase a new trailer and a direct gameplay session by the guest voice actresses.
