Digimon Story: Time Stranger new footage shows city activities and more attack animations

Bandai Namco has published several new footage forĀ Digimon Story: Time Stranger in the latest Terriermon Assistant video on the Digimon Official Channel on YouTube. The upcoming RPG is still under development with a release window in 2025.

The new footage does not have as many revelations as last March's Digimon Con 2025, as it mostly shows activities in the Shinjuku map and the Digital World city. However, it does come with a new feature revelation: You will now be able to rotate the camera at any angle in the maps, which you could not do in the Cyber Sleuth entries. In addition to more Digimon attack animations, the video also includes an example of how a Digivolution will look like in the new game.

You can find the video right below, with the following timestamps noting the starting points for the new footage scenes of Digimon Story: Time Stranger. The game is slated to be available worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam in 2025.

  • 10:30 - Human World in Shinjuku
  • 13:10 - Digital World city
  • 15:35 - Digimon attack animations (Agumon, Greymon, Gotsumon, Tentomon, Betamon, Knightmon, CatchMamemon, EmperorGreymon)
  • 17:25 - Digivolution scene (Gomamon to Ikkakumon)
