Indie RPG OFF has gotten a free Prologue demo on Steam ahead of its new launch for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) this year.

OFF, developed by Belgian developer Mortis Ghost, was confirmed to get an English release for the first time this year through publisher Fangamer. Ahead of its launch, an OFF Prologue demo has launched on Steam with save data carrying over to the full release. This Prologue includes Zone 0 and Zone 1 in their entirety. You will be able to continue your save in the full game when it is released. You can download the demo here on Steam. Check out the official website for OFF here.

OFF is getting ready for takeoff! The influential RPG remake was just playable at PAX East, and as of today, the Prologue is available on Steam and will OFFicially take part in Steam Next Fest from 9-16 June.
The newly released demo acts as a prologue and will give the player control over the Batter at the very start of the game. It OFFers up to an hour of nostalgic RPG gameplay and the great news is that any progress made will be saved and carried over into the full game. It ends with the fight against Dedan, the first boss of the game and a fan-favourite character!

The team behind the legendary RPG rerelease also confirmed to fans of the original that the new soundtrack will get the respect it deserves, with confirmed composers including Toby Fox (UNDERTALE), Morusque (Stray) and Nightmargin (OneShot).
Available in French and English at release, with a newly revised English localization based on Quinn K.'s work, who handled the fan translation that was at the root of the game's viral success. German, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese will be available as an update after the initial release.
