The Quintessential Princesses: Fantasy and Abyss and Magic Academy opening movie published
MAGES has published the opening movie for The Quintessential Princesses: Fantasy and Abyss and Magic Academy on YouTube. This movie will also play when players boot the actual game once it has been released.
The animation in this opening video is done by Seven Arcs, the studio best known for working on the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series. It also features the theme song "Ashita he" (To Tomorrow), which is performed by all five Japanese voice actresses behind the Nakano quintuplets (Kana Hanazawa as Ichika, Ayana Taketatsu as Nino, Miku Ito as Miku, Ayane Sakura as Yotsuba, and Inori Minase as Itsuki)
In addition, MAGES published a new press release that includes more images related to the game. The fantasy-themed magic academy uniforms turn out to be designed by Negi Haruba, the very creator of The Quintessential Quintuplets franchise. His design artwork for the uniforms is also shared in the press release.

MAGES also revealed that the game's limited physical editions will come with a Blu-ray disc containing a visual drama that runs for about 45 minutes. This show will have the Nakano quintuplets and the Uesugi siblings hold a party in pyjamas and casual dresses, and it will also be fully voiced in Japanese.
The Quintessential Princesses: Fantasy and Abyss and Magic Academy will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 in Japan on September 18. More details about the title's gameplay systems are available in our initial coverage.
