Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma - Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin crossover content trailer published

Marvelous has published a new trailer for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma that adds more details to the crossover content from Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. Following the initial reveal last January, the company revealed how the free DLC pack will bring the protagonist of Edelweiss' title to one of the publisher's mainstay games.

The trailer and its related press release confirmed that once the DLC pack has been installed, Princess Sakuna will appear in the village and also be recruitable as a playable party member. The protagonist will also be able to interact with her and see her farming rice in the village.

In addition, Marvelous published an official guideline for user uploads of gameplay videos and screenshots while sharing a fan kit for content creators to use in their streams.

In general, the company allows recording from most parts of the game, although they require story events to be thoroughly marked with spoiler warnings. The only segments that are completely prohibited from publications will be the bonding quests and romance events with Cuilang and Pilika, which are exclusively available via paid DLC packs.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will be available worldwide for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam on June 5. The Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin crossover content DLC pack will also appear on the same launch day.
