Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Nintendo Switch 2 update version 4.0.0 now available

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have released the 4.0.0 update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to bring in improved visuals and frame rate when played on Nintendo Switch 2.

Nintendo announced that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet would be getting a free update back on April 2 for Nintendo Switch 2. It was then confirmed to feature improved visuals and performance on Nintendo Switch 2. After showcasing the game's performance improvements in the Nintendo Today app earlier today, Nintendo has released the 4.0.0 update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This update will be available to Nintendo Switch owners as well, but the patch notes only mention improvements for the game on Nintendo Switch 2.
