The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom adds Switch 2 improvements and favorite echoes feature in new update

Nintendo has released many Switch 2 compatibility updates today but, the update 1.1.0 for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom also included a new favorited echoes feature that also works when played on Nintendo Switch.

With the Nintendo Switch 2 launching in just over a day, Nintendo's updates have started rolling out for games it published to add various Nintendo Switch 2 enhancements like we saw with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in version 4.0.0. The new addition to The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is notable as it addresses one of the major complaints I had with the game. This will be available after you have gotten 30 or more echoes. For Nintendo Switch 2 owners, this update also brings in HDR support, optimized visuals, and more.

The following updates have been made when playing the game on Nintendo Switch 2:

General

• Added a feature to display only favorited echoes in the list of echoes after 30 or more echoes have been learned.
• Visuals: Optimized for the Nintendo Switch 2 display and high-resolution TVs for improved image quality.
• HDR (High Dynamic Range) support for improved image contrast and brightness.

  Note: HDR-compatible display required when playing in TV mode.

• Fixed various issues to create a smoother gaming experience.
