OFF arrives digitally for Nintendo Switch and PC on August 15, with physical Switch editions set for Q4 2025
Developer Mortis Ghost and publisher Fangamer announced that the new, updated re-release of 2008 RPG OFF arrives on August 15 for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) digitally. The physical release on Switch will be coming sometime in Q4 2025.
OFF is a game that is known for its influence on many RPGs, especially indie darling Undertale. It initially came out in 2008, and the re-release contains several new enhancements and features, such as an all-new battle system, new areas, and hidden bosses. Last month, OFF released a Prologue demo on Steam that supports save-data transfer into the full game.

Fangamer and Mortis Ghost are proud to announce that OFF will release digitally on August 15th on Nintendo Switch and Steam, with physicals for Nintendo Switch available in Q4. The release date was revealed during Day of the Devs Summer Game Fest edition.

If you missed it, OFF was also featured in the MIX Online Summer Showcase where Ryan Alyea from Fangamer explained some of the features of the critical hit system. Did you know that using items critically can also provide a special effect such as extra HP?
OFF Prologue
The newly released demo acts as a prologue and will give the player control over the Batter at the very start of the game. It OFFers up to an hour of nostalgic RPG gameplay and the great news is that any progress made will be saved and carried over into the full game. It ends with the fight against Dedan, the first boss of the game and a fan-favourite character!
OFF is participating in Steam Next Fest from June 9-16th. The demo is currently rated "Very Positive" on Steam, and the game has already gained well over 100.000 wishlists ahead of its release.
