Freedom Wars Remastered demo launches on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC Steam

Bandai Namco announced that they have today just published a demo version of Freedom Wars Remastered. The demo is downloadable for free on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

The free demo just appeared long after the full game has been released last January. But even then, this demo is completely separated from the full game, as there are several different specifications so there are no possible save data transfer from the demo to the full release. The demo also contains story stages up to the Code 2 promotion, but it is only available in offline single-player mode.

Another specific thing to note about this demo is its availability on the PlayStation platform. Even though the full game is also available on the PS4, this demo is only available for the PS5. That means those who still have the older console cannot access the free demo and can only purchase the full game.

Bandai Namco is still actively supporting the full release of Freedom Wars Remastered on the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC Steam. On the same day the demo got published, the company released a new update patch that raises the game's version to 1.09.
