Aksys is working with Falcom on a Tokyo Xanadu eX+ Switch 2 compatibility update
Yesterday, Aksys Games posted about working with Falcom to bring the Switch version of Tokyo Xanadu eX+ to Nintendo Switch 2. I assumed this was just a compatibility update since the game currently has issues via backward compatibility on Switch 2, but I reached out to confirm what the publisher meant given some of the responses to the post on social media.
Aksys confirmed to me that it was indeed a compatibility update and not a native release for Switch 2. I also asked about the possibility of bringing the updated English localization to the PlayStation and Steam versions of Tokyo Xanadu eX+. Aksys tells me that it is indeed looking into bringing the updated localization to those platforms. There is no news beyond that as of this writing.

If you haven't played the new Switch release, read Cullen's thoughts on it here where he praises the updated localization. You can also read Chao's review of the PS4 version here.
Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms.
