The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- patch 1.1.0 is now available bringing many improvements & adjustments
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- from XSEED Games and Aniplex has gotten a major update with patch 1.1.0 which is now live on PC (Steam) bringing in many improvements and balance adjustments.
This update follows the recent major patch that allowed skipping similar battles after clearing them once on certain routes, skipping the morning and evening chime screen effects, and more. Read about that here. Today's update has major improvements for Chapter Select in addition to balance adjustments for many of the characters. A new Extreme & Despair battle mode is also now available. Other improvements include quality of life updates for the Gift Machine and the ability to hide the message window during dialogue.

Extreme & Despair mode has Special Attacks and Last Resorts now costing 2 AP, allies taking 100 damage from every attack, and more. This update is live on Steam and not currently live on the Nintendo Switch version. When it goes live, I will update this article.
If you haven't played the game yet, a free demo with save data transfer is available on both Switch and Steam. Read Cullen's thoughts on the game here and my comparison feature going over the Steam and Switch versions here across handhelds.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is out now for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) worldwide.
