Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree - First Guardian trailer showcases Rekka and Nishiki

Bandai Namco has revealed a new trailer for Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree at their Summer Showcase 2025 stream. This trailer features the swordswoman Rekka and the fish man Nishiki, two of the eight Guardians who will be playable in this game.

During the stream, the game's producer Daisuke Nagaoka provided more context on featuring these characters as the first ones from the group. He noted that Rekka will be the one character most recommended to newcomers, with Nishiki following not too far.

Shortly after the stream ended, Bandai Namco published a standalone version of the trailer, which you can also find right below. Note that this is the "1st" Guardian trailer published, so we can expect the remaining Guardians to be featured in subsequent videos. Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree will be available for the Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC Steam on September 19.
