Digimon Story: Time Stranger gameplay deep-dive explanation video published

Bandai Namco published a long deep-dive explanation video for Digimon Story: Time Stranger at the Summer Showcase 2025 stream.

One of the new features explained here is the Personalities for Digimon, which will play in a similar fashion to the Natures in the Pokemon series. However, the Personalities in this game will not only affect the Digimon's stats, as these could also be included in the Digivolution requirements.

This is one of the numerous lengthy videos Bandai Namco has made to promote Digimon Story: Time Stranger. The company had earlier published around half-an-hour-long gameplay footage in Japanese. Even though the segment lasted over nine minutes long, Bandai Namco has also uploaded its standalone version, which you can find below. Digimon Story: Time Stranger will be available worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on October 3, with Japan getting the console releases a day earlier on October 2.
