The Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy launches for PlayStation 4 on September 30
Today, Idea Factory International has announced that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3: V Generation will launch for PlayStation 4 both physically and digitally in North America and Europe on September 30. The games were previously confirmed for a Fall 2025 release window.
For those of us just now joining us, the path to get here has been tumultuous to say the least. Originally, this trilogy re-release was originally intended for Nintendo Switch over a year ago, before being indefinitely delayed and then canceled due to changes in Nintendo's guidelines. These PlayStation 4 releases, then, were later announced as a sort of consolation prize, having not originally planned to release these PlayStation 4 releases in the west. Last month, Idea Factory International revealed the trilogy's release window and the box art for all three games; and here we are, now. What an ordeal for simple re-releases of games that got ESRB-rated and physical releases on Vita a decade ago. Speaking of ESRB ratings, the updated box art with the port's new ESRB ratings are embedded below, alongside some new English screenshots for the PlayStation 4 releases of each game
Idea Factory International is excited to announce that the three canonical Neptunia classics: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 +, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation, and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation are arriving physically and digitally in North America and Europe for the PlayStation®4 on September 30, 2025.
