Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Johto-focused Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion releases on July 29

The Pokemon Company has just revealed the new major expansion pack for Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket. The new packs will be titled Wisdom of Sea and Sky, and they will be available on July 30 worldwide (or July 29 for those residing in the US Pacific time zone or anywhere further to the west).

This major expansion will prominently add Pokemon and characters from the Johto region, which was featured in the Game Boy Color Gen II entries Pokemon Gold and Silver and the DS remakes Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver. However, it will also mark the first time ever that the company adds basic cards for Baby Pokemon like Pichu and Cleffa. As of this trailer launch, it remains to be seen how the company will handle their respective evolutions to Pikachu and Clefairy.

Just like prior post-release major expansions like the Gen IV Sinnoh's Space-Time Smackdown and the Gen VII Alolan Celestial Guardians, this set will be available in two separate packs starring Ho-Oh and Lugia, respectively.
