Corpse Party creator Makoto Kedouin is working on an RPG Developer Bakin sample game
SmileBoom has announced that Makoto Kedouin, the Japanese game creator best known for Corpse Party, is working on a new sample game using the former's RPG Developer Bakin. Until the sample game is ready to be published, the company is also gradually publishing dev blog articles featuring interviews with the creator, with the first article already available.
As a reminder, Corpse Party also had its roots in an RPG creator software. Kedouin made the original Corpse Party with RPG Maker Dante98 before he released it for PC-9800 computers in 1996. His team would then develop and release Windows PC and feature phone versions of the game, until 5pb Games took over and helped make new Corpse Party releases for consoles.
You can also find the original announcement right below. RPG Developer Bakin is currently available for PC via Steam in Early Access, but it will have its full release next month on August 28.

A new project has begun in which acclaimed game creator KEDOUIN, best known for the popular horror title “Corpse Party,” will create a brand-new sample game using Bakin over the course of several months. This development process will be documented in a blog series titled Made with RPG Developer Bakin, which will be published in stages on the official Bakin website.
Through the journey of building this compact sample game, the blog will share insights, discoveries, and creative techniques from a professional developer’s perspective—all while exploring and learning the capabilities of Bakin.
