Varlet 2nd trailer showcases the villains and gameplay systems
FuRyu has published the second main promotion trailer for Varlet on their Japanese YouTube channel. This new trailer reveals more of the game's details, such as the gameplay systems and the villains.
The first segment shows the six side characters who are now also confirmed as villains and bosses whom the hero and his partners will have to fight against:
- Minami Kuwahara (voiced by Rumi Okubo)
- Tomohisa Heida (voiced by Genta Nakamura)
- Fumitaka Harisu (voiced by Taishi Murata)
- Emiri Naisa (voiced by Nene Hieda)
- Fumiya Shinomura (voiced by Shuichiro Umeda)
- Kageaki Kurue (voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi)
The following segments show more of the battle and life gameplay systems that will appear in Varlet:
- Timeline Command Battle - Battle situations will change frequently
- Charge Break - Interrupts Skill attacks
- Skill Interrupt - Gaining a turn by moving up in the action order
- Link Step - A synchronized attack sequence between allies
- Momentary Time - A relentless combo attack exclusive to Ruler mode
- Triad Parameter - The player's actions and choices will determine the protagonist's personality, and this will also affect his available battle skills and future dialogue choices
- Youth - You can choose to deepen relationships with any given partner, but doing it with multiple partners can also cause trouble events
