The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- patch 1.1.1 with Extreme & Despair battle mode is out now on Switch
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- from XSEED Games and Aniplex on Nintendo Switch has gotten the major 1.1.1 update today following its launch on PC (Steam) last month.
This update added in the "Extreme & Despair" battle mode, quality of life updates for the Gift Machine, the ability to hide the message window during dialogue, and more. Extreme & Despair battle mode has Special Attacks and Last Resorts now costing 2 AP and allies taking 100 damage from every attack as was revealed when the update hit Steam. The developers have detailed an issue causing a crash in Chapter 00_0_a-019 when you skip Exploration. This will be addressed in a future update. Full patch notes for today's update are here.

If you haven't played the game yet, a free demo with save data transfer is available on both Switch and Steam. Read Cullen's thoughts on the game here and my comparison feature going over the Steam and Switch versions here across handhelds.
