Akatsuki Games has released a new trailer and announced that its RPG based on Kaiju No. 8, Kaiju No. 8 The Game,  will launch on August 31 for iOS, Android, and PC (Steam).

Kaiju No. 8 The Game is a free-to-play turn-based RPG based on the manga and anime series. Ahead of its launch, you can pre-register for the game on Google Play for Android here, pre-order it on the App Store for iOS here, and wishlist it on Steam here.

Akatsuki Games this week released a new trailer for their upcoming kaiju-slaying RPG, Kaiju No. 8 The Game. Launching on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on August 31 JST / August 30 US, with a Steam version coming later this year, Kaiju No. 8 The Game adapts Naoya Matsumoto’s award-winning manga and anime franchise to a visually-striking, mobile-first experience.

In Kaiju No. 8 The Game, players can assemble squads of their favorite Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force officers and face down deadly Kaiju in an intuitive, turn-based combat system. Utilize officers’ unique skills, expose the Kaiju’s cores, and deliver a finishing blow!

Each officer is customizable with a variety of weapons and skills, with a wide array of playstyles that suit each player.
