Retro-futuristic action-RPG Robots At Midnight launches on August 28 for PlayStation 5

Finish Line Games and Snail Games USA have announced that indie souls-like RPG Robots at Midnight will launch on August 28 for PlayStation 5 following its debut on Xbox and PC earlier this year.

Last year, Adam previewed Robots at Midnight during Summer Game Fest where he said it felt like a cartoony souls-like RPG, but with simplfied combat, light-hearted tone, and tight scope. Ahead of its PS5 launch later this month, you can wishlist Robots at Midnight on the PlayStation Store here.

Robots at Midnight is now available on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam). It launches on August 28 for PlayStation 5.

Snail Games USA and Finish Line Games are thrilled to announce their retro-futuristic action-RPG Robots At Midnight is coming to PlayStation 5 on August 28th, following its recent release on Steam and Xbox in June. Get ready to bash bots and crush circuits to save a world thrust into mechanical mayhem!

Robots At Midnight casts players as Zoe as she searches for her father on the ruined luxury planet of Yob, where all its robot inhabitants are out of control following a planetwide blackout. You will face gangs of corrupted robots, confront towering bosses, and uncover long-buried truths about Yob on your quest.

To aid her on her journey, Zoe must harness the power of her space-gauntlet, the “MITT,” a tool built for space exploration, now repurposed for intense action. Capable of super-powered punches, electromagnetic forces, overcharged laser beams, and added propulsion, Zoe can learn to launch off enemies, soar through the air, and smash through bots with momentum-based combat.

Robots At Midnight offers two distinct difficulty modes for a wide range of playstyles. Hero Mode focuses on exploration and story, making it an ideal entry point for players new to soulslike mechanics, while Master Mode presents a true test of reflexes and strategy. Whichever path you choose, prepare for a fight.

Co-Founder at Finish Line Games Daniel Posner stated, “We love soulslike action, but we wanted to offer a combat-heavy rewarding experience that didn’t wallow in doom and gloom, with a more vibrant, colorful world to explore. We can’t wait for PlayStation players to experience it!”

Can you survive the robotic chaos and save Zoe’s dad before midnight? Robots At Midnight is coming to Playstation on August 28.
