Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga delayed by a few months for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC
Refint/Games has delayed Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga by a few months. It was originally scheduled for launching this Summer in the West for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic).
Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, the crossover fighting game originally released only in Japan for the PlayStation Portable in 2010, is finally getting a global launch this year. The reason for the delay by a few months is due to unforeseen circumstances outside Refint/Games' control preventing the publisher to reassess its release schedule and make adjustments. Refint/Games confirms that it will be sharing new screenshots and more details in the coming weeks.

You can find Refint/Games posts about the delay via the publisher's social media below:
Greetings, adventurers and bracers! It has been a while since our last update on Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, and we want to thank everyone for their patience during this time.
Development has been steadily progressing but an unforeseen circumstance outside our control arose, preventing us from continuing work and forced us to reassess our release schedule and make the necessary adjustments.
While our original target was a Summer release, after careful consideration, we have decided to delay the game by a few months. This will give us the time needed to ensure that every aspect of the game, from the gameplay to the presentation, meets the quality we strive for and that fans deserve.
We understand it is disappointing to wait longer than expected, but we are confident this decision will lead to a stronger, more polished experience at launch. In the coming weeks, we will be sharing more details, new screenshots, additional information!
Please stay tuned for the upcoming release date trailer! Thank you again for your continued support and enthusiasm!
