Super Robot Wars Y DLC sets will include additions of The Big O, Kamen Rider W, and Getter Noir
Bandai Namco has published full details about the upcoming DLC units for Super Robot Wars Y at the mid-August 2025 SRW series live stream. The two DLC sets will add new playable units from a total of 6 titles combined.
The titles featured in this list range from returnees to new debutants. The former consists of Galaxy Cyclone Braiger, The Big O, and Steel Jeeg.
The Getter Noir that has appeared in the SRW mobile games X-Ω and DD will make its console debut in a similar vein to Macross Delta and Getter Arc. This unit used to be a new original creation by Dynamic Planning, but the latter has finally given a formal title in Getter Robo: Shikkoku no Hyouryuusha (Jet-Black Drifter).
The last two titles will make their first-ever appearances in the SRW series: The Brave of Legend Da-Garn and Fuuto PI: Kamen Rider Skull's Portrait. The latter is the movie based on the anime adaptation of Fuuto PI—the full-fledged sequel manga to the tokusatsu show Kamen Rider W/Double. It will also bring in Kamen Rider Double, Skull, and Accel as new playable units.

DLC1 Title List - Contract from the Darkness
- Galaxy Cyclone Braiger (previously appeared in SRW Alpha Gaiden, GC/XO, & NEO)
- Unit: Braiger (Kid, Isaac, Bowie, and Omachi) - has a special skill that increases credit funds obtained
- The Big O (previously appeared in SRW Z series and SRW D)
- Unit: Big O (Roger Smith) - has an exclusive special skill
- Assist: Dorothy
- Fuuto PI: Kamen Rider Skull's Portrait (brand-new)
- Units: Kamen Rider Double, Kamen Rider Skull, and Kamen Rider Accel
- Assist: Tokime
DLC2 Title List - Awakening of a Soul
- Steel Jeeg (previously appeared in SRW Alpha 2&3, K, & L)
- Unit: Jeeg - Panzeroid will be his strongest attack
- Getter Robo: The Jet-Black Drifters (console debut after appearing in mobile games SRW X-Ω & DD)
- Unit: Getter Noir #1 (Ryoma) -> Getter Noir G (Ryoma, Hayato, and Musashi) - also has new original vocal song included
- The Brave of Legend Da-Garn (brand-new)
- Unit: Da-Garn X -> Great Da-Garn GX
- Assist: Seiji
As an additional note, those who purchase the complete DLC set containing both packs will also be able to access bonus missions that will unlock the SRW X and T protagonist units Xelguard, Tyranado, and Tyranado Rex.
Bandai Namco has also uploaded a standalone trailer for the DLC units, which you can also find right below. Super Robot Wars Y will be available worldwide for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on August 28. However, the DLC units mentioned here will not be immediately available at launch even when you have purchased the packs. The actual release dates for these DLC packs will be announced at a later time.
