Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse announced today that its world-popular open-world adventure RPG, Genshin Impact, is debuting the first in-game look at the new character, Flins, at gamescom 2025. The event will also feature its first offline booth experience of the new version, teasing the upcoming region, Nod-Krai. Starting today, players and visitors can get a closer look at the highly anticipated major annual expansion and take part in a variety of exciting activities. The booth is located at Hall 6, Booth C031, in the Koelnmesse event arena in Cologne, Germany.
For its fifth consecutive year, Genshin Impact is at gamescom, delighting and exciting fans both online and on-site. The spotlight this year is on Nod-Krai, the new region featured in the game's major annual expansion. This region marks the beginning of a new chapter in the game's main storyline, bringing together new and familiar factions from across Teyvat. A new trailer, premiering today at gamescom, introduces Flins, a skilled Lightkeeper warrior making his debut in Nod-Krai. In the trailer, he is seen to face the threat of the Wild Hunt with valor and grace.
At gamescom, Genshin Impact invites visitors to a world-first immersive booth experience centered on the new region of Nod-Krai. The booth will feature a showcase of unique factions and an interactive challenge where players can help the new character Flins defeat the Wild Hunt. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of entertainment and special perks, including cosplay and live band performances on stage, exclusive merchandise, and a chance to try limited-edition items from the HoYoverse Café menu. For fans unable to attend in person, the excitement continues online with live coverage from the gamescom show floor, streamed by Rocket Beans TV.
From August 20 to 24, the Genshin Impact booth will welcome players and fans with exciting Nod-Krai-themed activities. The booth, located at Hall 6, C031, is supported by UGREEN and HOLY.
Players who wish to try out Genshin Impact's latest summer-themed map and events can head to the Samsung booth in Hall 9. There, they can experience the current version of the game on mobile, PC, and the PlayStation®5.
