Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Resident Evil crossover event announced

Shooter-RPG Goddess of Victory: NIKKE will receive a crossver event with Capcom's Resident Evil series soon, according to an announcement from developer Shift Up and publisher Level Infinite. The event was announced during the Future Games Show event at Gamescom 2025.

The official NIKKE YouTube channel also uploaded a teaser trailer for the NIKKE x Resident Evil event:

The trailer features common Resident Evil aesthetic staples, including zombies and strange rituals. It also features the involvement of the playable NIKKE characters Poli and D. The teaser ends with a sighting of Resident Evil mainstay Jill Valentine, rendered in NIKKE's Live2D-based style and appearing much as she did in Resident Evil 3. 

The trailer didn't specify a launch date for the event, nor did it detail exactly what changes it'll herald for the game. If previous NIKKE crossovers are any indication, players can expect to see playable characters from Resident Evil, like Jill Valentine or Claire Redfield make their way onto the NIKKE roster via the in-game gacha system, or even as a free giveaway. Cosmetic skins for will also likely be sold via an event pass or a separate costume gacha. NIKKE's most recent crossover involved one of Shift Up's own games, the action RPG Stellar Blade, which also received its own NIKKE-based crossover content, as well.
