Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade runs at a stable 30 frames per second on Switch 2: Square Enix

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will run at a "stable 30fps" offering "smooth performance and crisp visuals" according to Square Enix.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is set to launch this Winter for Nintendo Switch 2. It was playable at gamescom 2025. Today, the official Final Fantasy VII series account has posted details for the performance target for the Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. This information comes soon after the game was shown off for Xbox with a confirmation that it will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title. Read about that here.

If you've not kept up with the release timeline, Final Fantasy VII Remake debuted back in 2020 on PlayStation 4. Since then, it received a PlayStation 5 version that added the Episode Intermission expansion content featuring Yuffie in the form of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. That version was then brought over to the PC via the Epic Games Store, followed by Steam. It was also Steam Deck Verified when it released on Steam, and it plays great on Valve's handheld. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was then announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). It launches on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S (Play Anywhere) in the Winter. You can wishlist it on Xbox here.
