Shuten Order Patch 1.0.1 revises English translation for certain routes, fixes PC loading issues, and more

Shuten Order from EXNOA (DMM Games), Spike Chunsoft, and Tookyo Games has gotten its first patch on PC Steam with Nintendo Switch to follow.

This patch fixes issues related to Windows language and region settings that caused issues with the Steam version, revises the English translation for the Ministry of Health and certain other routes, fixes v-sync issues, and more. This is only the first patch to address the localization issues with more to come. These fixes will be coming to Switch at a later date.

You can find the Shuten Order version 1.0.1 patch notes from Spike Chunsoft below:

The following issues have been addressed in this update:

  • Fixed an issue related to Windows Language and Region settings that would cause blackouts or extended loading times.
  • Fixed an issue preventing progress in the Ministry of Science route.
  • Fixed an issue where toggling Vsync ON/OFF in the Options menu would still display as ON.
  • Corrected several minor typographical errors in Japanese text.
  • Revised the English translation for the Ministry of Health and certain other routes.

Shuten Order is now available for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). Read my comparison of the PC and Switch versions tested on Switch 2, Switch, and PC handhelds here and Cullen's full review here.
