Hyperdimension Neptunia series 15th anniversary theme song lyrics contest opens in Japan until November 30

Compile Heart and Idea Factory have announced that they will produce a new theme song to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. This song will also be featured in the series' next mainline numbered entry as a battle music. In addition, the companies have also opened a lyrics contest, where they accept submissions until November 30.

The new theme song is projected to be a "hot song for cheering Neptune's party during battles". As such, the companies expect the lyrics to include keywords like "Courage", "Friendship", and "Determination", as well as phrases like "cannot lose" and "must win".

The contest submission form, which is made with Google Docs, requires applicants to input with an existing Google account. In addition, Idea Factory Co., Ltd. will be listed as the lyricist in the finalized theme song, as they will adjust the lyrics on their own discretion.

Neptune's Japanese voice actress, Rie Tanaka, will be the singer of the new theme song. That also means she will get to sing the winning lyrics from this contest. 5 random participants in the lyrics contest will be able to win a Neptunia-themed colored paper with Rie Tanaka's autograph. However, the companies can only deliver the prizes domestically to valid Japanese addresses.
