Persona 5: The Phantom X Version 2.2 update continues Summer event with Seaside Tomoko

Sega and Atlus have released the Version 2.2 update patch for the Japanese and Western releases of Persona 5: The Phantom X. This patch primarily features a continuation of the Summer event that launched in the preceding Version 2.1 patch, and it also added an alternate Seaside version of Tomoko Noge as a new gacha-limited party member.

In addition to the Summer event, this update adds a couple of new permanent content with a new Synergy event line featuring Kira Kitazato and a new City Life activity with Haruna Nishimori. As a side note, the Global servers have a different schedule from the earlier East Asian releases, as Miyu Sahara's Synergy was added earlier than Kira's in the latter.

You can find the version 2.2 patch notes after the Seaside Tomoko trailer right below. The Southeast Asian server is expected to get this update roughly a week later. Persona 5: The Phantom X is available worldwide on PC, iOS, and Android. It has also been available much earlier in China, South Korea, and Taiwan, although the later global releases are on an accelerated path to eventually catch up with East Asia.

A new item has been added to the Synergy menu that allows you to change the choice made during the pivotal moment when the relationship changes to become either Soulmates or Close Friends.
Turnaround Tickets are available in the in-game Shop under Goods.
To use one, go to Synergy and select the character you want to use it on.
*You cannot select the current relationship status at the time you use the item.

We have adjusted the descriptions of items that allow you to obtain characters or weapons upon use, such as the 5★ Weapon Case and the 5★ Welcome Idol Chance.

You can check the lineup of obtainable items through the following methods:
　For selection-type items (ex. a weapon case)
　In the shop, Phantom Pass, etc., you can check the contents by pressing the item icon or the Details button.
　You can also check them by pressing the Use button in your Bag.
　*The item will not be consumed until you press the Select button.
　For lottery-type items (ex. Chances)
　You can check the contents by pressing the Contract Rates button in the item description.
